Reflection Eternal is a sound installation measuring aural space in an audible manner. The sounds are similar to sine waves, which can be controlled in terms of pitch and rhythm by moving the reflecting plates back and forth on the speaker – reflector. The installation, relies on feedback of directional sound and randomness, and will change depending on the recipients and how they move, creating an unique experience each time it is visited.
Matthias Kassmannhuber is focused on sound, video and spatial installation with strong emphasis on decontextualization and abstraction. It was exhibited at various shows.
