METROBANG, metro (metronome) and bang (shot) is a sound installation that captures and reframes the frequencies and noise from vinyl records and translates the information into a sequence of synthesis of low and granular synthesis. The User interacts with the frequency, changing speed, volume, pitch and other effects with the touch of the instrument and the exchange of disks.
Ricardo Brazileiro is a researcher activist of art digital technology. He has experience in language studies, and computational methods for creative use, development of multimedia interfaces in real time with free software and hardware components and low cost electronics. Minister production workshops, participated in important festivals and has interest in the relationships between art, technology and education as a tool for social integration, artistic and political.
