Hi! A real human interface

Abstract:
“Hi! A real human interface” is a metaphor for how interaction with technology should be. It was the group attempt to create the perfect interface; one that really understood people´s deepest needs, a human interface indeed. The “Hi” video was intended to be a self-portrait project. The group wanted to be able to explain what they did in a plain way. They knew, though, that people are not always as they want to be; instead the others see them.
Multitouch Barcelona created a video that reflects their vision in
the possibilities that interaction brings to both people and technology. Making technology warmer has always been the goal of the collective and they couldn’t think of a better way to do it than literally embedding a human being inside of it.

Biography:
Multitouch Barcelona is a recently born interaction design group that explores natural communication between people and technology. They design experiences that merge real and digital into a creative environment where people are invited to touch, play, move and feel as they do in the real world.
