RGB Music RENGA: 999 Views of Skyscrapers from Great Lawn in Central Park, New York City

This is a sound installation of an algorithm composition. The software creates 10 to 60 seconds of compositions from the RGB (Red Green Blue) values of a series of Central Park photographs.

Around 1990 Kenji Kojima began to use a computer for making plans because the paintings needed elaborate and careful planning. It sent him in a new direction of his artwork that was a perception research by software art.
