The course aims to bring the participant closer to the programming knowledge by using the free software Scratch, which allows the intuitive development of animations and games. Participants are also instructed to develop a joystick using electronic waste, which enable the communication between the developed game and the device in question.
BIO
Carmem Castanon is an artist dedicated to the subject matter of art and technology and interdisciplinary poetics related to the making as a critical experience.
With a master’s degree in Arts, Culture and Languages, graduated in Artistic Education, she has maintained since 2014 the project actlab – laboratory of artistic actions and the multi-studio – laboratory of arts, science and technology.
