Game Over Project
Who does not remember the very first video games PONG, SPACE INVADERS, POLE POSITION, TETRIS, PAC-MAN,…? Well, “GAME OVER” is one of the amazing art projects developed by the French-Swiss artist NOTsoNOISY Guillaume Reymond. It consists of a series of collaborative animation movies which revive some of the very first video games. The pixels are replaced by a group of real human-beings that are moving from seat to seat in a theatre during about 4 to 6 hours. Each “pixel” has its own rules and decides what s/he wants to do for each picture. Once all these pictures are turned into a short animation movie, a giant human-scale video game unfolds “live”.
The French-Swiss artist Guillaume Reymond is born in 1969. He lives in Switzerland. He was formed as architect, but launch his own creative multimedia agency NOTsoNOISY in 2000. In 2009, he stops the graphic design to focus only on artistic projects and video. He developes new creations that are surfing between Art and participatory events. His videos have an amazing success around the world through internet. That is may be because he tries to find original ways to create images and animated films, exploring simple, imaginative and funny approaches.
