SCM/CityU – Tiantian Su, Ningxin Wang & Jun Wu – Laid Out – Hong Kong 

This three-minute film mainly uses the principle of photo montage production and is based on the photographs taken by us. In this animation different images are cut, copied and overlapped to form a new collage. Stylistically, this is a light-hearted and upbeat film; we chose to introduce the landscape of Yau Ma Tei in a cheerful way.

Bio:

Su Tiantian studied painting at an early age, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and is currently studying for a Master of Fine Arts degree at the City University of Hong Kong.

Ningxin Wang, is a current MFA student at the City University of Hong Kong. She graduated from Xiamen University, major in fine art, focus on lacquer painting. Used to be a fashion stylist and a filter designer. Interested in animation and games, trying to be an animator or illustrator in the future.
