SCM/CityU – Yin Hairong, Zhang Jianing & Deng Yuanyuan – Sham Shui Po’s Night – Hong Kong 

Sham Shui Po is a representative neighborhood of Hong Kong. It embodies many of the assets and features of the city. We focus on the night scene at Sham Shui Po, full of some unique visual elements such as street light, billboard, light from people’s windows and so on. The dazzling twinkle and glaring light shine in Sham Shui Po, and we follow the footsteps of freedom to record the slightly tipsy look of it. 

Bio:

Deng Yuanyuan is a videoartist, filmmaker and researcher. She is committed to exploring the expressive potential of realistic images. Her work got recognized in many festivals and museums. She used to be the editor of The Ferry Chronicle and the assistant screenwriter of the TV series Thirty Years of Jianghu.
