SUPERCREATIVITY
Creativity overcomes obstacles and builds new realities. In each moment, as said in Philosophy, art lies confined in the cloister of its time. From time to time, however, creativity produces gaps that enable art to break through into new realms. And it’s almost a norm to say that creativity is an exclusive property of art.
Creativity is not limited to the arts. It also takes place in all disciplines of Culture. Thus, in the aesthetic sense, it ceases to be creativity and becomes Supercreativity: the sum of all creative engines that permeate and connect to our culture.
In economics, we see it emerge in Joseph Schumpeter’s “destructive creativity” and Clayton Christensen’s “disruptive theory”. In mathematics, we see it in the creation of Alan Turing’s universal machine, in John von Neumann’s autonomous cells and in Claude Shannon’s logic electronic circuits.
They created, along with many other creative geniuses, the intelligent machines that originated Artificial Intelligence. Supercreativity, however, is not a property of Artificial Intelligence, but its very inventor. Supercreativity, teaming with Artificial Intelligence or not, is and will be the main condition to the world’s development in all its nuances.

INSTALLATIONS
PROGRAM
Ghostly and spectral forms are revealed to the viewer through a flashlight as they navigate the installation in an enigmatic narrative.
Through game strategies, Lu Yang develops philosophical reflections. Questions about life and death, questions about multiple sexualities of the current world and fantastic narratives where, in an apotheotic rise, they fight even against themselves.
Aquatic world full of digital life in which artificial biological beings can be created and discovered. The more interaction, the richer it is the ecology of this world.
VJYourself! is a work in which users invent their own dances making their choreography multiplied.
The installation is an aesthetic experiment designed to make artificial neural network processes perceptible. Two independent AI (Artificial Intelligence) systems were configured to communicate with each other in an invented language of audiovisual associations.
The installation by Fernando Velasquez rewrites the luminous and minimalist sculptural conception of the artist Dan Flavin, becoming a kinetic installation executed by algorithmic programming.
Travel through a surreal, vivid and highly stylized world filled with mystery, wild high-speed crossings, captivating characters and massive enemy encounters. The Void is calling…
The luminous portal transports the viewer to a creative time and space.
Quantum Jungle is an interactive installation that, through the concepts of quantum physics, mainly Schrodinger’s equations, allows the public to experience the behavior of subatomic particles in the quantum world.
The “great chain of being” is an ancient philosophical concept according to which there was a god at the top of the world’s structure, and below angels, animals, plants, and elements. However, the new contemporary structuring causes the old worldview to be transformed through technology into a structure with robots, machines, people, animals and virtual or digital entities.
Terence Broad develops a work with colors, which results in a competition using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and GAN (GENERATIVE ADVERSARIAL NETWORKS).
ÁTOPOS is a multidimensional, disruptive and strategic game.
A series of collages and a collection of Instant Film Polaroids are accompanied by captivating animations and video clips seen exclusively through the use of the augmented reality app (Virtual Mutations).
AVANT DIGITAL ART
The work depicts a post-human dystopia inhabited by expressionless blue avatars continually tortured by an unknown omnipotent force. In a haunting combination of computer-generated crowd simulations and unsettling views from a colonoscope, the video meditates on the friction between individuality, the collective anxiety of algorithmic control, and the violence of virtual simulation.
Transmedia adventure that explores neo-primordial worlds. Landscapes, technology and beings are identifiable interconnected. A post-human cyborg on a quest to understand his impact on the biomes around him after a cataclysmic explosion. The work offers a reflection for more sustainable futures.
Critical of technological trends such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Machine Learning, in his works John Butler imagines the future of urban spaces, interpersonal and professional relationships, the market, politics, and human reformulation itself, as a result of machining.
Combining maximalist design and an exceptionally rigid narrative structure, Rolfes creates live performances, videos and experiences that follow a kind of video game dream logic, a universe he oversees as world builder and main antagonist, continually criticizing his own practice with ironic tone and the wit of the prankster.
The work is based on the science fiction novel Roadside Picnic by Arcady and Boris Strugatsky. Enter ”The Zone” to explore an uncharted land filled with traces of an alien species that briefly inhabited it before returning it to human hands.
