FILE Sao Paulo 2019 | Hypersonica
Electronic Language International Festival
The second movement of ‘Disgression No. 2’ is formed from creative anxiety, sound exploration, conjugates, digital sounds, field recordings, acoustic, electro-acoustic and virtual instruments to reach and establish a discourse with the limits of unconsciousness. The video extends beyond the transcription of a musical score and is generated by repeatedly editing clips passed through data transmissions, guiding the composition of the sound.
Jorge David Ortiz Trejo is a sound creator, his work is based on the manipulation of field recordings and acoustic, electro-acoustic and virtual instruments. He has collaborated with other artists on audiovisual and interdisciplinary projects and also lectures on Sound and Acoustics on the Digital Film and Animation degree course at UNIAT (University of Advanced Technologies), San Luís Potosí, Mexico.
