GABRIELE BARLERA – SYNTHETICA BELLICA – Italy

Synthetica Bellica is a composition that tells of sound objects greatly opposed to each other without the possibility of agreement; jagged and threatening atmospheres that are noticed with impetus, overpowering others; nervous rhythmic movements and sounds that cannot find a stable and defined position. Sound mutations wander in the listener’s perception, returning emotional fatigue; but this sense of unease softens during the narration of the piece, although it does not disappear completely.

Bio:

Artistic producer, composer and arranger. Currently is attending the Biennium of Electronic Music at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Music in Italy. Signs the music for numerous short films and documentaries. He teaches courses, workshops and training seminars on Music for Image, Arrangement and Modern Composition.
