Ouazzani Touhami Sarah – Holobionte – France

A holobiont, from the Greek holo, “all”, and bios, “life” designates, at the same time, an animal organism or plant, the host, and the microorganisms it harbors. It encompasses both the one and the many. He is like a busy train, housing regular and occasional passengers. The work is freely inspired by this biological concept, thus creating a movement from the inside (of the body) to the outside (the body in its environment).

Bio:

Visual and sound artist living in Marseille, France. Video practice led her interests to the non-visible, unspoken words and sound as a possibility of dialogue with the unconscious. Time, slowness, displacement, myths, rituals, elements are central in her approach.
