The Invisible

Abstract:
“The Invisible” is presented as a sculptural performance comprised of eight Fedora hats all suspended in the air and attached to identical robotic structures that are arranged in a circular pattern. Under the guidance of a computer program the hats swerve in formation, gyrating and dashing to the accompaniment of Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries in a surreal theatrical homage to the helicopter attack scene from the film Apocalypse Now.
