Mercedes Helnwein – Cops and Nurses

Abstract:
“Cops and Nurses” is a film installation by artist Mercedes Helnwein with music composed by her brother Ali Helnwein and cinematography by Giovanni Ribisi. Originally intended to be shown simultaneously, projected against opposite walls of the same room, the films share an orchestral soundtrack and trap the viewer between two dichotomies – female and male, light and dark.
