Abstract:
“Escape” is a short animation made entirely in VR using a software called AnimVR. It is timed to the song “Put em Up” and it follows a skateboarder being pursued through a busy city by the police. It was made to show just how fast and powerful VR art and animation can be.

Biography:
Nick Ladd is a recent graduate of the 3D Animation & CGI program at Dawson College in Montreal. He has a background in Illustration and is always looking for interesting ways to tell stories. He likes to go outdoors and paint and work on art and animation in Virtual Reality.
