SCM/CityU – Leung Cyrus, Ty Lok Yi Scarlett & Kwan Sin Ching Angel – Mirage 蜃樓 – Hong Kong

By merging mirror space and the densely packed skyscrapers of Central, this film captures a surreal perspective of the Hong Kong’s business center. Looking through the reflections of glass and mirror, while both presented in a faintly discernible and fragmented way, the archetype of a bustling business district is present, yet the quiet of the night takes over every cycle.

Bio:

Cyrus Leung is an animation and audio student influenced by science and folk culture. Her work includes hand-drawn animation, illustration and others. Ty Lok Yi is a multimedia art student. Her works range is from experimental film to game design. Angel Kwan Sin Ching is an animation and experimental videographer with great interest in experimental video.
