Abstract:
“Shelly Shelly on the Wall” asks questions around the cult of the selfie, self-representation and the politics of representation. How does frequent and continuous consumption of the images of mainstream media affect our mind and psyche? Is it at all possible to recognize ourselves as humans of depth after watching these images? Or are we getting more and more shallow and superficial through wathing these images? Have we already become the empty shell of our representation?
