“Tempestades” is a sound poem made in 2019; in this year my mother had a breast cancer diagnostic and the piece is a reflection about the process between the diagnostic and acceptance of the condition. This work reflects the psychological pain in relation to time and the uncertainty that it provokes. In Mexico, there is a sentence that tells “After the storm comes the calm”; the sound poem is a lot of this.
