Albert Merino – El món sublunar – Spain

How do we interpret the world from the given elements? Systems can be constructed on the basis of errors or false premises, but they allow us an interpretation that often appeals to subjective feelings. In the sublunar world, the universe is hardly a diaphanous space closed in on itself, but perception takes place in it. The encounter with a projected world that develops on the basis of new rules.

Albert Merino’s artistic work focuses in the field of videoart. Using a hybrid language and several graphic resources, he develops a wide imagery within he intervenes and transforms reality exploring the borders between simulation and truthfulness. His work has been shown in international festivals, presented in institutions and museums and recognized with several international awards.
