The access to speed allowed by the development of the internal combustion engine has not been without consequences on our sound environment, on the quality of the air we breathe and finally on our climate. However, if the reduction of the greenhouse effect constitutes on paper an objective for the States, in fact, the ecological question is not treated or worse, it is made invisible, delocalized. 

Bio:

Filipe Vilas-Boas develops a satirical critique of the notion of technological progress while he draws new possible paths. Born in Portugal in 1981, Vilas-Boas is a self-taught conceptual artist currently living and working in Paris. Without being a naive tech utopist or a reluctant technophobe, he explores our use of technology and its ethical and aesthetic implications.
