Two Native American geographic sites on the California/Arizona border, and a NASA site in Arizona are scanned in 3D, rendered, and animated as flying islands in deep space. A text narrative tells an apocryphal story of an encounter between a Navaho tribal elder and the Apollo 11 astronauts.

Bio.

Brit Bunkley is a New Zealand-based artist whose art practice includes the proposal and construction of large scale outdoor sculptures, discrete objects, and installations as well as the creation of “impossible” moving and still images and architecture designed using computer 3D modelling. His work explores an oblique sense of paranoid, apocalyptic fear tempered with a sense of whimsy and irony
